Based on various bows of English origin, this model represents my idea of a “standard” late baroque cello bow. It is especially suitable as a sophisticated beginner model, as it accommodates the playing habits of modern cellists particularly well.
The different available materials provide for a wide range of possible weights.
This model can be played overhand or underhand as a gamba bow.
